Wirfon Investment Holdings (WIH) is in search of a Manager that has the above traits. Currently involved in poultry farming, WIH has a wide range of investment portfolios in its strategic plan and needs a coordinated effort to consolidate, expand and diversify its operations. The principal business location is Kumbo - Nso and business operations will involve travelling nationally within Cameroon.
Qualifications and skills: The core required qualifications and skills include but not limited to:
Ø A Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Candidates currently pursuing the ACCA qualifications are encouraged to apply. Demonstrable relevant work and effective leadership experiences may also be considered in place of academic attainment.
Ø Candidate must be a self starter and capable of functioning with minimal supervision.
Ø Must have a good mastery of the OHADA Accounting system/reporting and a demonstrable ability to keep all necessary accounting books - day books/journals, trial balance and balance sheet.
Ø Knowledge and ability to manage the payroll and the asset register and ensure monthly accounts are prepared and sent to management on a timely manner.
Ø S/He must have effective marketing and communication skills, and the ability to organize, plan and prioritize work.
Ø Good leadership and interpersonal skills are vital and a demonstrable ability to effectively manage staff, promptly resolve issues and develop performance benchmarks.
Ø Candidate must be results-driven and be ready to work beyond the eight hours work day to achieve goals/targets.
Ø Candidate must have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience and must be bilingual (English & French).
Ø Must have effective computer skills - Ms Words, Excel and Internet and, driving experience is a plus.
Ø The candidate should be capable of developing and presenting to The Executive Management (EM) periodic business plans & budgets. Investment funds are available.
Ø Compensation is competitive and performance bonus including stock option plans is in place to reward excellent performance and upon exceeding KPIs'.
